The Iranian Children’s 2nd Friendship Week was held in Damascus, Syria by Kanoon, aided by General Office of Social Affairs and Overseas Iranians & the Organization of Culture and Islamic Relations, the cultural management of the Museum Organization, and the Syrian Culture Ministry.

Linda Wolfsbruger’s illustration exhibition

An illustration exhibition of Linda Woflsbruger was held in Kanoon museum from June 10th to 17th 2006.
The week-long exhibition, featured her illustrations who is the winner of golden Apple of Bratislava illustration competition. In her six months workshops with Iranian illustrators 8 stories written by Austrian authors were illustrated.

Iranian children’s Friendship Week commenced in Turkmenistan, Ashgabat in collaboration with Kanoon International Affairs and the I.R. Iran Cultural Center in Turkmenistan, in the hall of The City Puppet Theater Center with the seating capacity of 350 attended by the ambassadors of Germany, Poland, Korea, Pakistan, Turkey, and Tajikistan, the chiefs of the host country including the head of the library and that of the Children Association, the Islamic Republic of Iran cultural attaché in Turkmenistan, and Turkmen families, children and adolescents.
