The 27th Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Market was held along with the 34th round of this festival on January 29 to February 3, 2012 in the city of Clermont-Ferrand.

Equipped with 8 meter stands, the market is held in an area of 1000 meter and hosted 119 stand holders from different countries including France, Romania, UK, Portuguese, Spain, Greece, Brazil, Chile, Italy, Ireland, Croatia, Tunisia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Iran, Netherland, Canada, Finland, Germany, South Korea, Poland, Colombia, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Japan, Sweden, Switzerland, Iceland, Thailand and Belgium. It’s a great place for all film producers and festival organizers worldwide to share their experiences and exchange ideas for future cooperation.

Kanoon and “Documentary and Experimental Film Center” were two Iranian participants at the market in which Kanoon had submitted six of its latest animations named “The Fox Who Followed the Sound” by Fatemeh Goudarzi, “Mammy Crow & The Fox” by Mohammad-Ali Soleymanzadeh, “Wedding Party”  by Mahin Javaheriyan, “Life Story of Red Pencil” by Alireza Chitaee, “Bald Pigeon Fancier” by Sadegh Javadi and “Kind Moon” by Nazanin Sobhansarbandi.
