First international presence of “why this phone never rings?”

As its first international presence, Hadi Yaghinlou’s eight minute “why this phone never rings?” was screened at the 6th Iranian Film Festival in San Francisco on September 28, 2013.

Established to support the Iranian film and culture in the Iranian-American community of the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond, Iranian Film Festival (IFF) is an annual event showcasing independent feature and short films made by or about Iranians from around the world.

IFF is also a platform for the Iranian filmmakers living around the globe to express their vision and talent through the artistic medium of film.

Born in 1974, Yaghinlou is a graduate of directing who has been quite active in writing, directing and visual effects. His other directions are “red pencil and black crow” and “A precious pal & a delicious bud” and “fruits’ journey.

“Traveler” (4minutes) by Sam Chegini, “Shirin&Farhad” (2minutes) by Majeed Beenteha, “red line” (8minutes) by Mona Shahi and “Alzheimer” (8minutes) by Alireza Hashempour were also screened in the event.

The 6th Annual Iranian Film Festival officially came to an end today.
