Description:

The Iranian Children’s Friendship Week was held in the Shishu Institute in Daka, Bangladesh in 2003. Maliheh Rahman, the Bangladesh Cultural Affairs Consulting Minister, , Shariar Akhtar, a member of the board of trustees of Daka’s Children’s and Young Adults’ Cultural Organization the Bangladesh head of Children’s and Young Adults’ Cultural Organization, and the Iranian Ambassador and Cultural Counselor attended the inauguration ceremony.


Exhibitions:

An exhibition of Kanoon’s books, creative entertainments, Bangladesh children’s paintings and Dara and Sarah dolls was held.








Workshops:

Some handicraft and puppet-show workshops were held.


Films:

Some of Kanoon’s films were shown.


Considerations:

It is worth mentioning that the Friendship Week was broadly reflected in Bangladeshi press. The English ‘observer’ newspaper in Daka published a photo of the program held in Bangladesh Children’s and Young Adults’ Cultural Organization gallery.
