“The Kitten” Screened in the 20th Corto Imola International Short Film Festival

The 20th Corto Imola International Short Film Festival officially came to an end last night. The two day festival kicked off on Friday, 13th of December in Italy. The 20th edition introduced a special event that involved all over the city. Friday 13th December 2013, was the shortest day of the year in which 44 short films from 36 countries were screened.

The festival which has been held for 20 years is organized by the Council of the Town of Imola, in collaboration with ST/ART, the Council for Culture of the Emilia Romagna Region, Province of Bologna, Foundation Cassa di Risparmio di Ravenna, Cassa di Risparmio di Ravenna, Banca di Imola.

Sections of the festival are international competition for short films, retrospectives, appointments and special programs and special events and premieres. International competition for short films has three competitive sections of fiction short films, animation short films and documentary short films.

As its 11th international presence, Shiva Sadegh Asadi’s “The kitten” was screened in the international competition section. It should be added that Kanoon attended the event by submitting 12 of its products.

A 1000€ cash prize was also granted to the best film that had won the highest online ranking.
