11th Storytelling Festival

11th Storytelling Festival

Date: 2007

City: Shiraz, Farhangian Center

Subject: Molana’s stories, due to the year of Molana, 2007

10 foreign guests, 2 special guests to the festival, and 2 guests in the Book Demonstration Ceremony attended this festival.

The book “Taking a Look at Iran“, which was written through a 2.5-year cultural exchange project by 34 Iranian children and 30 Dutch children, was published by Kanoon and the Dutch Kit Museum Publisher. Due to the coincidence of the two programs and the appropriacy of Shiraz as cultural-artistic city, the Book Demonstration Ceremony and the festival were performed simultaneously.

Other sections of the festival were the Essay Writing Competition and the international Scholarly Meetings.
