Two of Kanoon’s animations in Lenola International Short Film Festival

The 15th International Lenola Short Film Festival will be held on July 25-29, 2012 in the Italian city of Lenola. Kanoon has participated in this festival by sending 11 productions including “The Way” and “Life Story of Red Pencil” by “Alireza Chitaee”, “Zero” by “Nazanin Sobhan Sarbandi”, “The Alchemist” by “Mehdi Khoramiyan”, “Ton-Pich” by Samaneh Momtazmand, “The Farmer and  The Robot” by “Abdollah Alimorad”, “Rolling Pumpkin” by “Morteza Ahadi”, “Simple Things” by “Behzad Farahat”, “Mahouri” by “Fatemeh Goudarzi” and “The Wolf & the Eve” by “Mohammad Ali Soleymanzadeh”.

According to the latest news form the secretariat of the festival sum of 913 movies have been submitted to the festival which 412 movies will be screened in national competition section, 351 works in international section and 150 animations will be screened in section of animation.

“Life Story of Red Pencil” which experiences its first international presence, and “Zero” directed respectively by “Alireza Chitaee” and “Nazanin Sobhansarbandi” were selected to be shown in animation section along with other 16 animations from France, Croatia, Belgium, Spain, Mexico and Congo. The only accepted Iranian animations were productions of Kanoon.

It should be mentioned that the 15th International Lenola Film Festival is the first international presence of “Life Story of Red Pencil”
